Your CNC machine, on your iPhone, iPad and Mac

CNC Remote drives Grbl, grblHAL and FluidNC machines: load a job, check its toolpath, set your origins, then start, pause and stop it from the device in your hand.

Install the server

What it does

One app on every device

The same app runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac (iOS 26, iPadOS 26 or macOS 26 and later). Every device paired with your machine sees the same job, settings and position, so you can start a job on the Mac and keep an eye on it from your phone.

A small server next to the machine

CNC Remote works with CNCRemote Server, a free program that runs on the computer or Raspberry Pi connected to your machine by USB. It keeps the job running even when your phone locks or leaves the room, and lets every device you pair follow it.

The app finds the server on your local network by itself, and keeps it up to date. How to install it.

No computer by the machine? On a Mac connected to it, the app can drive the machine itself. A FluidNC machine on Wi-Fi or a grblHAL machine on Ethernet can even be driven straight from an iPhone or iPad. See compatible controllers.

Try it without a machine

No server yet? Open the app and choose Try a Demo Machine: a simulated machine runs inside the app, so you can explore every screen. Nothing real moves.

Free, with Pro when you need more

Driving your machine is free. CNC Remote Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription: it is bought for one server and works on every device paired with it. It adds the surface map, choosing which pieces of a grid to cut and in what order, the job history, and the relays, buttons and sensors wired to a Raspberry Pi server. Every Pro feature can be tried free for 14 days.

Stop, Pause, alarms and Getting Started always stay free.

CNC Remote is not an emergency stop. A network drop, a flat battery or a frozen device can take it away. Keep your machine's physical emergency stop within reach, and stay next to the machine while it runs.
